Topic: Webinar: Re-Evaluating Products & Services with Activity-Based Costing as Tariffs Loom
Date: April 9th, 2025 (Wed)
Time: 12PM – 1PM EST
Host: Tyler Grube, Consultant
While tariffs are still in flux, the main chatter on the street is not the tariffs themselves, but the fear of tariffs, making consumers to hold on to their cash, or businesses to become reluctant to start new initiatives. Fear is an interesting sentiment, it can either inhibit by slowing down decision making, or it can motivate by finding those flaws and weaknesses that every business has and doing something about them.
This session will provide an overview of ABC models and their utility for business owners navigating environments with rapidly changing costs. We will show how ABC reveals the links between performing particular activities and the demands those activities make on the organisation resources, to give managers a clear picture on how products/services or customers generate revenues and consume resources. We will then provide practical tips on how managers can act on the ABC analysis by either repricing products/services based on their use of support resources to come up with a new product mix or find ways to reduce resource consumption by changing products/services mix or customer mix.
Don’t miss this opportunity to gain valuable knowledge, engage with industry professionals and participate in a Q&A session.
