Alex joined Sapling Financial Consultants Inc. as an administrative assistant in September 2020 and was promoted to executive assistant in 2024. She graduated from the Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU) of Munich, Germany, where she obtained an MA in computational linguistics. Prior to joining the company, Alex was the personal assistant of Dr. Mariantoni, a professor at the University of Waterloo, Canada. As a personal assistant, she organized lecture notes and helped produce video lectures for remote teaching; she additionally helped with a number of financial and publication-related tasks.

Beyond Sapling Financial, some of Alex’s interests include acquiring new language skills and investigating word etymologies, making her a true language enthusiast. Such enthusiasm has proven invaluable while spending her life in three different continents, before landing in Canada.
