Thomas Xu recently joined Sapling in 2024 after earning his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto, majoring in Physics and Economics. With a lifelong fascination for particles and universe, Thomas is driven by curiosity. At University of Toronto, he enrolled in several particle physics and quantum mechanics courses, where he was profoundly inspired by the wisdom of physicists. His interest in economics led him to explore the world of finance. To advance his literacy in finance, he is currently a CFA Level II Candidate and passed the part I of the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification in 2023. Outside of his professional pursuits, Thomas enjoys watching the NBA and playing basketball in his free time as a long-time basketball fan.

Motivated and committed to excellence, Thomas believes in leveraging his efforts and critical thinking skills to help clients achieve better financial results. It is a journey highlighted by continuous learning and outputting. He would like to accomplish these goals here with Sapling and its brilliant and knowledgeable team.
