Billy is a sales and business development leader with 20+ years of experience delivering business impact and building high-growth teams across Fortune 100 and startup environments. He is recognized for developing winning sales strategies and high-value partnerships, while bringing a cross-functional approach that spans marketing, operations, product development, and financial analysis.

Prior to joining Sapling, Billy held senior leadership roles across high-growth and enterprise organizations, including investor relations and partnership-focused mandates. Most recently, he helped launch a national security-focused fund and supported early fundraising by building investor outreach strategies and pitch materials. Previously, he led major partnership and go-to-market expansion initiatives and spent several years in public sector growth, including executing large government agreements and scaling revenue through channel partnerships.

At Sapling, Billy works with the firm’s leadership and consulting teams to build long-term relationships in New York and across North America, connecting private equity firms, founders, and executive teams to Sapling’s services in financial modelling, data analytics, and due diligence. His approach combines consultative selling with a practical understanding of how clients evaluate opportunities.

Billy is active in his community, serving in leadership and board capacities, with long-term involvement supporting Cornell Sprint Football and more recent local board and youth sports leadership roles.
