Wendi Chen joined Sapling as a marketing intern in February 2024, where she discovered her passion for data analysis. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Human Biology at the University of Toronto, she returned in 2025 as a full-time analyst. Known for her analytical mindset, strong problem-solving abilities, and talent for translating complex data into actionable business insights, Wendi supports clients in making confident, data-driven decisions.
Before joining Sapling, Wendi worked as a Research Assistant at Toronto Western Hospital, where she was involved in clinical trials and contributed to data-driven research initiatives. This experience strengthened her analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Her multidisciplinary academic background provides a unique perspective when tackling complex data challenges.
She is always willing to collaborate and support her team while striving to help clients make data-driven decisions. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking and spending time with animals.
