Sakif is a Senior Analyst at Sapling, specializing in financial modeling and analysis. Prior to rejoining Sapling, Sakif gained valuable experience in equity research at Scotiabank, covering diversified financials and supporting analysis across 17 publicly traded non-bank financial institutions. He also previously worked at Fidelity Canada as a Treasury and Risk Analyst. With a strong foundation in equity research and quantitative analysis, Sakif is able to help clients navigate complex deal situations through rigorous financial analysis and data-driven insights.

Sakif holds a Master of Financial Economics and a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from the University of Toronto. His academic background has shaped a strong interest in financial analysis, capital markets, and data-driven decision-making.

Outside of work, Sakif is passionate about continuous learning and acquiring new skills. He enjoys travelling, deal hunting, building custom PCs, and following soccer as a dedicated Arsenal F.C. fan.
