Joanna is a data analyst with a strong foundation in quantitative research, analytics, and programming. She holds a Master of Applied Science from the University of Toronto’s Institute of Biomedical Engineering and an Honours Bachelor of Medical Science from Western University, where she specialized in Medical Biophysics.
Joanna brings experience in Python, R, and MATLAB, with a proven ability to translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights. Before Sapling, she collaborated with cross-functional teams and industry partners to analyze and present data that informed strategic and operational decisions in research and healthcare settings. Her work emphasized both technical rigor and excellent communication, ensuring insights were accessible to diverse stakeholders.
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys staying active with a variety of sports (climbing, outrigger canoeing), reading, and spending time with family and friends.
