ERP to Accounting System Reconciliation Automation

We consolidated sales and revenue data from three ERPs (used in each plant) and aligned it with GL entries, creating an automated, unified reporting layer in a centralized data warehouse with a detailed multipage Power BI dashboard.

We investigated the data and created standardized matching rules across the three ERPs, structuring the model to highlight the impact of manual journal entries and credit memos made directly in the accounting system at product level. These entries, which often caused reconciliation differences, are now clearly separated and tracked.

The Finance department is now able to explore data by location, product, or GL account through a full self-service dashboard with drill-down capabilities. This shift to real-time insight significantly reduced the time needed for month-end reconciliation and improved data confidence.
