Ethan is a finance and consulting professional with a specialization in financial modeling, forecasting and financial due diligence for M&A. At Sapling, he has assisted clients with gaining a deep understanding of the financial impacts of the various options available at key decision-making junctures. He is highly independent, working on various projects while reporting directly to private equity and portfolio company executives to execute on mission-critical reporting, data analysis and LBO modelling tasks as needed.

Prior to joining Sapling, Ethan was an Associate Consultant in KPMG’s Commercial Due Diligence practice. He worked on a major project for a large-scale waste management company, focused on evaluating qualitative aspects of various local markets for potential entrance via acquisition. Ethan’s education includes passing all three levels of the CFA program, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, with a focus on finance. In his free time, he is an avid kite surfer, snowboarder, golfer, cyclist, and runner.
